Overview
A cinematic AAA shooter — built in Unreal Engine 5 for next-gen consoles and PC.
Building a AAA experience from the ground up
Horizon is Proud Lion Studios’ flagship AAA project — a third-person shooter built in Unreal Engine 5, aimed at the same visual and technical bar as major console releases. The brief was ambitious: photorealistic environments, responsive combat, and a production pipeline that could scale to a full game.
Our team owns the full stack of development — gameplay programming, environment art, character design, lighting, and technical direction — using Unreal Engine 5’s Lumen and Nanite systems to hit next-gen fidelity without sacrificing frame rate.
Horizon is currently in active development, with gameplay systems, art pipelines, and core mechanics being iterated on toward a full production build.
